Blanca Romeo de la Higuera is a Spanish composer, singer-songwriter and multi-disciplinary artist. Her musical endeavours span film, TV, video games and dance, as well as her solo artist project ‘Odina’ –a raw, intimate and deeply vulnerable offering– which has earned her international critical acclaim, and amassed over 20 million streams on Spotify.

In 2022, Blanca received an Arts Council England grant, allowing her to embark on a new musical chapter in orchestral composition. At the same time, her passion for filmmaking led her to study at the prestigious National Film and Television School, where she is a recent graduate.

Recent projects include BAFTA Yugo longlisted short animation Fawn, Grierson nominated short documentary Two Days on the Interstate, and Wildscreen Panda Award nominated Death Row Dogs, as well as Fortuna, a dance collaboration with Rambert School that premiered at the Royal Opera House’s Linbury Theatre. As an orchestrator, she has collaborated on projects with composers Hannah Peel, Matthew Herbert and Roger Goula amongst others.

Blanca is currently working on her sophomore Odina album, a baroque-pop surreal record inspired by dreams.
